The Governing body are seeking to appoint a passionate English teacher for Maternity Cover to join our outstanding school.  Applications are welcomed from NQTs and experienced candidates.

King’s is an 11-18 school that was founded on traditional values. The school is highly regarded and significantly oversubscribed.  In the 2019  national performance tables, King's was ranked in the top 2% of schools in the North West.

The English faculty is forward thinking and has established a scholarly community, where innovative teachers develop talented students. The successful candidate will join a friendly team, who are committed to building on the department's historic success. The curriculum is innovative and knowledge-based, with students from year seven up to sixth form genuinely enjoying their English lessons.  Departmental schemes of work and materials are of a very high standard and support teacher work-life balance through minimal marking and research-informed pedagogy.

The closing date for applications is noon on Wednesday 20th January.  Interviews will be held online on Friday 22nd  January.  Full tech support will be provided for candidates.
