The School
Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is rated as Outstanding by Ofsted (2013) and as the only secondary school in the community of Kenilworth, is oversubscribed with motivated and well behaved pupils.
We are a split site, with Years 7 – 11 based at Leyes Lane and Sixth Form set on our Rouncil Lane site. The school is well resourced to support the delivery of the subject. The post holder will join a supportive team and there will be an opportunity for professional development, as the school is looking to become a teaching school.
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Teacher of English. We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join this forward-looking department. The right candidate will bring apply energy and enthusiasm to their work and the department.
The ability to teach across all key stages would be an advantage as some A level teaching is required at both AS and A2.
You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of all of our students at Kenilworth School. Our students are well behaved and willing to learn. The department is cohesive and welcoming and all our classrooms are well resourced.
We would especially welcome applications from NQTs and also experienced teachers.
