At The Regis School, we enjoy building positive relationships with young people.
We are a big school with around 1500 students and nearly 200 staff. We have an astounding school building with superb facilities across all subjects, but that doesn’t define who we are. What defines us is our very real sense of community as a Rights Respecting school; a togetherness that permeates through daily school life and focuses everyone on the job in hand – ensuring The Best in Everyone.
We are looking for someone to join us to teach English, in Key Stage 3 and 4 and potentially through to Key Stage 5. Our English team have a real passion for their subject and a proven record of supporting and developing staff.
We’re looking for someone who shares this love of English and has the desire to motivate our young people to feel the same.
We offer pay scales above the national standard with rapid progression for those who get consistent outstanding student outcomes, reduced gym membership to our on-site gym, reduced fees for the on-site nursery, a laptop and a tablet device.
We will give you a curriculum framework, a modern classroom with excellent facilities, comprehensive CPD opportunities, your timetable of classes and above all, the freedom to teach with creativity to motivate our students to work hard and achieve their potential.
We are happy to receive applications from every level of the teaching community. You might be looking for your first teaching post; that’s great as we will support you and offer you structured training to make it the right start to your career. You might be looking to move schools or areas; that’s great too. We recognise we can all learn from each other and we love new ideas! You might be looking to return to teaching after a break; brilliant! We can offer you a great place to find your feet again and rediscover your love of teaching.
There is an open invitation for you to come and see us because we appreciate that, in teaching, moving to a new school is a significant decision. We are convinced our young people will sell this opportunity better than anything you can read on a website, so we encourage you to come and meet us all. Our recruiter, Richard, is happy to arrange this for you. email@example.com / 01273 729465.
For further information, an application pack or an informal discussion regarding the post, please contact Richard Lanning via firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01273 729465.
Completed applications should be returned by email to email@example.com
