St George’s School is a Catholic mixed comprehensive Academy for students aged from eleven to nineteen.  St George’s has a long history of outstanding examination performance and was once again graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in November 2014.  St George’s is situated in Maida Vale, North West London close to transport links and inner London.  Required for September 2017, a full-time permanent teacher of English to join our high achieving English department.   We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified teacher with excellent classroom skills.  This is an opportunity to work in a supportive, creative department in a dynamic, successful, over-subscribed school.   Our staff are well supported and we welcome applications from teachers at any stage of their careers, including NQTs.   There are many opportunities for career progression within the Academy.  If you feel you have the vision, skills and commitment to support St George’s School in our continued drive to raise attainment and get the best from our students then we would be pleased to hear from you.  A generous responsibility allowance can be made available to the right candidate.  To apply please send your CV and covering letter to office@stgeorgesrc.org.  Visits and enquiries to the school are welcome.

St George RC Academy is situated in Maida Vale, Westminster. The school educates girls and boys between the ages of 11 and 16. It gained academy status in 2013. The London-based academy is a Roman Catholic school. St George's was graded 'outstanding' at the last Ofsted inspection in November 2014.
