Teacher of English

Wyvern College and St. Edmund's Girls School have co-located to create one learning campus. Facilities and teachers are shared to create a large, mixed, setting of approximately 1300 students. Both schools are situated next door to each other in an outstanding location on the outskirts of Salisbury, with a beautiful backdrop of the Laverstock Downs and acres of playing fields. Both schools currently have a 'Good' OFSTED rating. Our school values, Respect, Responsibility and Resilience, were chosen by the students and are reflected in every aspect of school life.
 

We have high expectations of student attainment and similarly we expect much from our staff. We are aiming for outstanding provision in all areas and this appointment is a key factor in ensuring that we achieve that ambition.
 

Our students are delightful; they embrace learning opportunities and respond well to challenge. Our reputation in the local community is soundly based upon the value we add to our students from the point at which they join us until their departure for sixth forms and colleges in the local area.
