English at Cox Green is entering a dynamic and exciting phase, which will suit you if you have a passion for the subject and a passion for quality first teaching. The department offers a wide variety of extra-curricular trips and visits as well as bringing the curriculum to life through author visits, house activities, competitions, and workshops, which inspire our students. The ethos for English at Cox Green is closely aligned to that of the whole school where we expect our students to fulfil their potential academically, personally and socially.

We are seeking a passionate teacher who is able to deliver excellent lessons that are exciting, engaging and inclusive. Suitable for an NQT or an experienced teacher. An experienced teacher would ideally have proven experience of teaching at KS3, KS4 and KS5.

We place great emphasis on staff professional development and we offer outstanding training and support. Cox Green School also takes a leading role in the Teach Maidenhead programme, the region's teacher training provider.
