Post One:  Full Time MPS (maternity cover) from approximately February 2017 

Post Two:  Full time MPS (permanent post) from either, February, April or September 2017. Applications from newly qualified teachers welcome.  

Millthorpe is a successful 11 - 16 comprehensive which aspires to be an outstanding school, situated near to the centre of the beautiful, historic city of York.    

We wish to appoint two excellent and highly motivated classroom teachers, who will contribute to the continued development of this successful department.  Candidates should have a proven record or the promise of outstanding practice and will be expected to teach across the age and ability range.  English is a strong department with experience and energy who welcome and develop new staff.   Please indicate which of the two posts you are interested in, or both.
