The Art, Design and Technology Faculty is a large faculty with 12 teachers and 3 technicians. We follow the national curriculum for year 7 and 8 and students take options for a three year GCSE from year 9 to year 11. We offer GCSE subjects in Art & Design, Digital Photography, Food and Nutrition, Resistant Materials and Graphic Communication. Class sizes are around 20-22 students at KS3 and 20 at KS4 and staff are supported with some excellent resources and training.
Our ideal candidate for this post must have knowledge of the new GCSE in Food and Nutrition, experience of teaching GCSE Food Technology and other Design & Technology subjects at KS3. To support this we have experienced teaching and learning and CPD teams which make this an exciting opportunity to further develop you in your career.
