Job overview

Teacher of Food Preparation and Nutrition

Ideally situated for both Manchester and the stunning countryside of Saddleworth and the Pennines, the College is a very successful and oversubscribed 11-16 Academy within the Pinnacle Learning Trust.

Our most recent OFSTED Inspection graded the school as ‘good’ in all areas and our Progress 8 score always indicates that students make good or better progress.

We are looking to appoint a teacher of Key Stage 3 Food and GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition from 1st September 2020 or sooner if possible (dates to be discussed).  This is a one year fixed term contract in the first instance to cover a maternity leave, but it could result in a permanent contract for the right candidate.  A temporary TLR may also be considered for an experienced individual to lead the subject.

Should you wish to apply for the post, please complete the online TES application form and include supplementary information about what you would bring to the role based on your experience to date.

If you require more information, please contact Danielle Hunt, PA to the Principal, on 0161 770 8514 or by email dhu@hathershaw.org.uk

Closing Date/shortlisting: Friday 6th March 2020

Interviews: Week beginning 9th March 2020

The Hathershaw College is responsible for safe recruitment and promotes the welfare of children. All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks.
