Our growing Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Food Technology to join our successful department which also includes Textiles, Health & Social Care, Child Development, Resistant Materials and Graphic Products. You will be a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who has a positive and open approach to learning.   

For the right candidate, the option of full time employment is possible.  

The Victory Academy was officially opened in September 2015 and is sponsored by The Thinking Schools Academy Trust. We are privileged to work in a stunning modern building which provides a brilliant learning environment with excellent resources. The pupils at our Academy need nurturing and consistency. The Academy is focused on providing an education for all. Our belief is that each person is unique – every member of our community has gifts and talents that we seek to grow and channel, including our staff. We proudly host ‘Victory Day’ each September and invite the local community, parents, pupils and staff from our Trust neighbour schools to take part in a fun day which spreads our Victory spirit and starts the academic year with a bang.

What you will need to succeed: 

You will have QTS and recent experience of working as a Technology teacher. We welcome applications from both NQTs and experienced teachers. You will be dedicated to ensuring all of our pupils achieve their very best, passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and interpersonal skills. We want to employ teachers who have Good or Outstanding practice, along with high expectations for yourself and the children.  We want to employ teachers who are a great team member and are keen to seek CPD, are able to hit the ground running in a school which is on the way to improving and eliminating previous challenges. The Victory Academy aims to nurture and inspire all staff to progress their career with responsibility and leadership. We look to employ teachers who understand and share our values and ethos.
