An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and able Food Technology Teacher to join our Technology Department. We are looking for an excellent practitioner who is able to deliver outstanding lessons in Food & Nutrition and work with the wider department in raising academic achievement and ensuring pupils make outstanding progress in Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.

 

The successful candidate will:

§ Be able to inspire pupils of all abilities within Food Technology to achieve their highest potential across Key Stages 3 and 4.

§ Be committed to delivering consistently outstanding teaching and work with others in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Crofton Academy, part of Castleford Academy Trust, is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive of over 1,000 pupils offering a broad and balanced curriculum. Our expectations are high and this is reflected in our very successful academic record. The Academy was inspected in July 2023 and was awarded ‘Good’ in all categories and inspectors praised the Academy for its significant transformation. The inspection commended the Academy’s improvements in pupil behaviour, the wide range of clubs and societies available, its well-structured approaches to teaching, and the high-quality professional development that staff receive.
