Are you passionate about teaching French and have a Second Language? Are you passionate about improving life outcomes for young people? If the answer to both of those questions is ‘yes’ then please read on.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate, innovative and motivated teacher of French who has a Second Language to join our highly successful department. The school has just been awarded "Good" status by Ofsted following an inspection in September 2017.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large and dynamic department where all students study at least one language to GCSE level. We currently offer French, German, Spanish and Urdu as part of our curriculum but also offer Italian and Latin as extra-curricular activities. The department runs a number of trips abroad and also runs a successful exchange programme.

Applications are invited from both newly qualified and experienced professionals. The ability to teach French at KS4 is essential, though we are flexible with regard to the 2nd language.

The successful candidate will be:
• good or outstanding teacher of French and a Second Language
• passionate about teaching and learning
• innovative and creative
• a team player
• committed to realising the potential of all children

We would strongly recommend you visit the academy to see for yourself what truly wonderful young people and staff we have at Ian Ramsey.
