Are you passionate about teaching French and have a Second Language? Are you passionate about improving life outcomes for young people? If the answer to both of those questions is ‘yes’ then please read on.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate, innovative and motivated teacher of French who has a Second Language to join our highly successful department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large and dynamic department where all students study at least one language to GCSE level. We currently offer French, German, Spanish and Urdu as part of our curriculum but also offer Italian and Latin as extra-curricular activities. The department runs a number of trips abroad and also runs a successful exchange programme.

The school have just been awarded "Good" status by Ofsted following their recent inspection in September 2017

Applications are invited from both newly qualified and experienced professionals. The ability to teach French at KS4 is essential, though we are flexible with regard to the 2nd language.

Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a mixed, non-selective Church of England secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees, serving pupils from the age of 11-16. The Academy is situated in Fairfield and has approximately 1,180 pupils on roll. 

It is a member of The Northern Lights Learning Trust which is recognised by the Department for Education as a Centre of Excellence as a Teaching School Hub and as an Early Years Stronger Practice Hub for the North East.
