Teacher of French and Spanish

Monkton PrepBath

Monkton is seeking to appoint a part-time or full-time Teacher of French and Spanish from January 2022. As the successful candidate, you are dynamic and ambitious and are seeking to develop in a school that grows fruitful people through innovation and a commitment to professional growth, and prioritises relationships over systems. The role would be predominantly based at the Prep School teaching up to Year 8, but might include opportunities to extend to Monkton Senior School for the right candidate.

As the successful candidate, you share our vision for fostering a love of lifelong learning, both for students and teachers. You are passionate about delivering an excellent holistic education and have a commitment to individuals, seeing this as the basis for students to flourish. You see education as lighting fires rather than filling pails as well as the vital part that a proactive pastoral approach plays in a student’s development.

This role would suit a passionate French and Spanish specialist, and we would welcome applications from both qualified and newly qualified teachers. It would also suit candidates who want to contribute widely to the broader life of the school, in both the curricular and co-curricular spheres, and potentially boarding as well.

The salary offered is in accordance with the Monkton Combe Teaching Staff Salary Scale.
