On behalf of the Academy Committee, we are seeking an inspirational Teacher of French and Spanish to join our wonderful school and Languages Department at Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School within The Romero Catholic Academy. This is an exciting time to be part of a growing team as we strive for academic excellence for all students in our care.
The position is an ideal opportunity for a teacher seeking a new challenge to further their career progression. The ability to deliver Spanish and French from KS3 would be essential.
At the heart of the Languages Department is a dedication to study languages in great depth, so that students leave being able to communicate fluently and with a sense of expertise. Our aim is to increase the profile of MFL within the school, to increase the uptake of KS4 and KS5.
Cardinal Wiseman is an 11-18 school in the north-east of Coventry which is on a journey of improvement. The school’s A-Level results were the best in the city in 2016, and students achieved 73% grades 9-4 for French/Spanish in Summer 2017.
