We require a language teacher who can teach both French and Spanish and who has an ardent enthusiasm for teaching, learning and the progression of young people. We are looking for an individual able to fulfil a team role that will complement the energy, dynamism and originality of thought, present in our established team. The post would suit an NQT and as your professional development is important to us, there are highly supportive induction programmes and CPD opportunities during your time at the Academy.

Budmouth Academy joined the Aspirations Academy Trust in September 2019. This is an exciting partnership and being a member of a successful Trust will enable you access to wider training and professional training opportunities. Budmouth is a large 11-18 comprehensive school with over 300 students in our Sixth Form. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach in all Key stages, including A Level.

We have enjoyed a significant rise in pupil outcomes in the last 2 years and there are exciting curriculum plans in place that alongside our new pastoral system “schools within schools”, are helping reinvigorate our Academy. Most importantly we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude towards young people and who will enjoy inspiring them in their learning of Modern Foreign Languages.

Budmouth Academy Weymouth is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.  This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.  We value the diversity of our workforce and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
