Chace is a popular successful inclusive comprehensive school - an exciting place to work and learn, where we are aiming to be the best we can be.
Commitment to learning
All can succeed
Confidence and courage
Everyone valued equally
Making a difference at Chace Community School really does mean that. Our students are fantastic and the job satisfaction that our teachers have from working with them and being part of our community is enormous.
Our school is a significantly oversubscribed 11-19 comprehensive school in the London Borough of Enfield. We are a diverse community with our share of disadvantage and deprivation to deal with but it's our duty to give the young people the best possible chance so that they can be successful. I take immense pride in the work of all of our staff and students, and having been at the school since 2005, continue to be amazed by their achievements.
People ask me why they should work at Chace. My message is clear: at the end of each day you know that you can go home, having worked hard, but really know that you have had a significant impact on the lives of our children and their families. Teachers at Chace really do make a difference.
We do work hard and set high expectations of all our team but our teachers’ career development and professional worth is valued enormously. I am proud that we were recently awarded a quality mark for professional development.
This is an exciting period for Chace. In May 2016 Ofsted recognised areas for us to develop further, we continue to work with Governors and the Local Authority to make significant improvements.
If you are thinking of joining us then please come and look round the school to get a feel for our ethos and values and meet some of our team.
We aim to be the best that we can be and need more excellent professionals to join us to make that a reality.
