Values and vision

King’s provides a happy learning environment which is underpinned by a strong sense of care, kindness, moral values, self-discipline and emotional intelligence, giving pupils the courage and confidence to be their best. Staff, pupils, parents and governors work together as one to create and sustain the learning environment that makes the School so special whilst nurturing individual pupils and celebrating diversity of talent – there truly is no typical King’s pupil. Each and every one is unique, and is treated as such.

King’s embraces a future-focused curriculum, which encourages independent thinking, creativity, and collaboration. This includes the introduction of our new Year 7 Diploma, designed to develop key learning skills, and a commitment to STEAM, the Green Curriculum, and emerging technologies such as AI. King’s has recently been recognised for its responsible and innovative approach to AI integration in education, having been awarded the Good Future Foundation’s AI Quality Mark—the first independent school in South East England to achieve this prestigious recognition.
