Job overview

Lancing College is seeking to appoint a committed, energetic, and enthusiastic Teacher of French and Spanish for September 2018.

The successful applicant will be a good honours graduate to teach French to A Level with some Spanish to GCSE standard. This vacancy may particularly suit either NQTs or candidates looking to broaden their experience after a couple of years in their first teaching post. However, for a suitably experienced graduate wishing to enter the teaching profession and with the personal qualities to succeed in a busy boarding school, funded teacher training is available.

To apply, please complete and submit an application form, full curriculum vitae and covering letter setting out, as succinctly as possible, reasons for applying for the position at Lancing College to hr@lancing.org.uk.

For full details and an application form, please visit our website at www.lancingcollege.co.uk

Early applicants may be invited for interview before the closing date and the College reserves the right to make the appointment before the formal closing date, so early applications are encouraged.

The Head of Modern Languages, Mr Sergei Drozdov, would welcome informal contact with interested parties by email (sxd@lancing.org.uk) or telephone 01273 465765.

The closing date for applications is midday Wednesday 18 April 2018 although applications may be reviewed on receipt.  Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 23 April 2018.

Lancing College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
