This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic NQT or an ambitious, experienced teacher seeking to develop their career in a successful and highly supportive environment. All students study French at KS3. French GCSE is taught at KS4. Strong links exist with our partner primary schools. You will be teaching throughout the ability and age range at KS3 and KS4.  The quality of teaching and learning is a strength of the school. The personal development of all staff is a priority. There is a comprehensive induction programme and excellent opportunities for high quality CPD.   

The successful candidate should:  

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner  

• Be innovative and able to turn ideas and opportunities into successful practice  

• Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with all stakeholders and enthuse students 

• Be enthusiastic, a team player, self-motivated and committed to further professional development  

Harwich and Dovercourt High School is an 11-18 Academy with 1200 students serving the town and immediate area.   The school was inspected in June 2016 and judged good by Ofsted. This is an attractive part of the country with excellent links to London and the Continent.
