An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of French to join our successful faculty. You will have a passion for your subject and, ideally, be able to teach a second language, preferably German, up to KS4.
Modern Foreign Languages are a key component of our curriculum and you will have the skills to engage students across the age and ability range. The successful candidate will be welcomed into a vibrant faculty of experienced teachers. At Key Stage 3 students learn two languages, with all students continuing with at least one language to GCSE. We will have 5 A Level language classes next academic year. The Faculty is well resourced and includes 3 language assistants accommodated in a purpose-built Languages Centre.
Although this is a maternity role, it may be possible to offer the position for the full academic year. This will be discussed at the interview.

Parmiter's School relocated to the current 60 acre rural Hertfordshire site from London's East End in 1977. The site is currently undergoing a period of development and has recently opened a new £4m state of the art Science facility. The school enjoys a good reputation for traditional values and academic achievement whilst maintaining a true family feel among staff and students.
