Candidates should be able to teach at KS5 as well as KS3 and KS4. This role would suit either a newly qualified or an experienced teacher. A willingness to take part in overseas language trips and to develop links with French speaking schools abroad would be an advantage.

Netherhall School is a grant maintained, Local Authority, mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with a sixth form, situated in Maryport, Cumbria. The school achieved its first ever rating of ‘Good’ from Ofsted in 2018, was named Cumbrian Secondary School of the Year later the same year, is host to the Cumbrian Secondary School Teacher of the Year and Cumbrian Secondary School Student of the Year. The school has a rapidly rising intake and the sixth form has over doubled in size in the past few years, with 720 students of age 11-18 currently on roll.
