Teacher of French (part-time)

To teach French across the School from Nursery to Year 2

Can be on 1 day a week, or a combination of times

Required to start Jan 2021

(Term-time only plus 3 days before and after each term)

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience

Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep School in Esher, Surrey is an independent day school for boys and girls aged from three to seven years. It was founded in 1912 and is part of the Shrewsbury House School Trust and is administered by a Board of Governors.

We require a part-time French teacher to work across the School, delivering lessons each week to all year groups, including our Nursery children. The individual will be able to teach French to our young children in a creative, engaging way, aiming to inspire a love for speaking and learning the language. The teaching will be focused on French speaking and listening skills.

Experience teaching French to children, including within an Early Years setting, is desirable.

The individual will work in partnership with the class teachers and assistants, becoming part of the SHPPS team. We expect the candidate to make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school.
