We are now looking for a Teacher of Geography at Maiden Erlegh School in Reading. Our school is an ambitious, over-subscribed 11-16 secondary school in an urban context which is as committed to the welfare of students and staff as it is our high quality education. In January 2014, a bid from Maiden Erlegh Trust to the Department for Education to open a new school in the East Reading area was successful. The central proposition of the bid was to open a new school that shared the ethos, culture and values of the well-established Maiden Erlegh School in Earley, Reading, Berkshire.
We proudly opened Maiden Erlegh School in Reading to its first Year 7 students in September 2015.

Maiden Erlegh School in Reading is committed to creating opportunity for students of all abilities to access outstanding education within a secure and caring community.
East Reading is a diverse community and the school embraces and celebrates this, encouraging tolerance and understanding of all faiths and cultures and empathy with the wider world.
