This Teacher of Geography post is part of the Humanities Faculty within the Academy, and will involve teaching Geography, Modern Studies and History.
Salary for this post will be in accordance with SNCT agreements.
Applicants must be or eligible to be fully GTC Scotland registered. This post is regulated work with children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where applicable, this post also requires an Overseas Criminal Record Check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Turriff Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in the rural area of Turriff in Aberdeenshire. It is a community state school and due to its rural nature serves a large catchment area, taking students from nine primary schools. The school’s latest school handbook identifies a school roll of 650 secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 12 and 18.
