Tes are working on behalf of a school with an excellent global reputation for being a warm and welcoming community as well as being a rewarding place to work. They are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Geography and Humanities on a full-time fixed-term basis from August 2022. This role is not suitable for NQTs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned group of international schools located in China. The area is a truly exhilarating place, with its cultural sites, ancient heritage and all the amenities associated with a large and vibrant city. From fascinating Hutongs to the many green spaces around the city, there is something for everyone.
The Successful Candidate:
- A degree in Geography and Humanities or equivalent
- A PGCE or equivalent in a related subject
- At least 2 years' experience teaching the subject to learners in a secondary school (Years 7 – 13)
- An ability to teach Geography programs up to post-16 level is a pre-requisite whilst experience in other Humanities subjects at Key Stage 3, IB Theory of Knowledge or IGCSE Global Perspectives will be an advantage.
