Do you think that geography is the gateway to all other subjects? Do you think that geography is the best subject on the curriculum? Do you want to make sure that students share this passion for your subject? If so you will fit in to our department school.
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can convey their passion for geography to the students in the school. The uptake of geography at GCSE is over 65% of the cohort each year with ever-increasing numbers at GCE. As part of the Humanities team, you will be expected to teach geography across all key stages and also support history and RE at Keystage 3.
The successful candidate will be joining a department that is well resourced and innovative in its approach. We use John Hattie’s Visible Learning pedagogy along with approaches developed as an International Baccalaureate Career Program school. We encourage all our staff to pass their passion for learning and their subject onto our students.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the school and ask to speak to Mr Tony Woodley Head of Geography.
