An oversubscribed and outstanding school with an exceptional reputation, set on a leafy parkland campus, is looking to appoint a Teacher of Geography to join its successful Humanities faculty.

Hockerill Anglo-European College has been consistently ranked in the top tier of UK  comprehensive league tables based on its International Baccalaureate Diploma and GCSE results. Included in the Sunday Times 2022 Good Schools Guide of top UK schools, it is the most oversubscribed school in Hertfordshire.

The College is situated in Bishop’s Stortford within the beautiful landscaped grounds of a former teacher training college and is within 30 minutes of both London and Cambridge, with Stansted Airport just 10 minutes away. We have a roll of 900 students, both day and boarding, including a Sixth Form of 250 students.

Hockerill offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma as the sole course of study in the Sixth Form, with GCSEs and the (IB) Middle Years Programme in lower years.
