Your Opportunity


We are looking for a dynamic and highly-skilled qualified teacher to join our excellent Geography department, with ability to teach other Humanities subjects at Meridian High School. 


You will have a confident understanding of the curriculum for Geography, and show a real passion for your subject. As a Geography teacher at Meridian High School, you will have plenty of CPD opportunities for professional development and growth. Working as part of the GLF Trust comprising of 41 schools, we can support you with career pathways for progression.

About Meridian High School

Meridian High School is a forward-looking, dynamic Academy, on a journey of rapid improvement within GLF Schools. We believe education is about developing the whole person, helping learners to understand the many different branches of human knowledge, challenging them to think critically and encouraging a desire for truth and curiosity in life.

Based in New Addington, Croydon, Meridian High School first opened under it's current name in 2015. It was previously known as Addington High School and has around 1,200 pupils. The secondary school and sixth form was named for the prime meridian line, which passes through the school grounds.

Meridian High School does a great deal to ensure that pupils have a strong sense of family and take pride in their school. Teachers seek to ensure that pupils develop both inside and outside the classroom, with extensive extra-curricular activities on offer. The intention is that pupils leave the school with the emotional and social intelligence to succeed in the real world, as well as strong academic qualifications.
