Our school is situated on the Cumbrian coast on the edge of the Lake District National Park and not as remote as you might imagine! It is an easy drive or rail journey to work along some of the most scenic routes in the UK and living in Cumbria might be just the lifestyle change to suit you, with relatively low house prices. It really doesn’t rain all the time!
In January we moved to our new £33m school, which was individually designed (not an ‘off-the-shelf’ model!) and we have state of the art facilities.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and talented teacher to join our experienced team of teachers. We want a person who is passionate about learning and teaching in their specialist field (Key Stage 5 teaching may be available), and who is willing to take part in developing the vision, commitment and determination to raise standards across all levels and abilities. The geography department have run a series of successful international trips over the last two years to Iceland, New York and the volcanoes of Southern Italy. The latest plan is to try and take students to the streets of Dharavi, Mumbai in 2020. This post is suitable for an NQT, RQT or experienced teacher.

All applicants are subject to the requirements of the Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education guidelines.
