Mark Hall Academy in Harlow is undergoing a transformation.
We are the oldest secondary school in Harlow and by the Autumn of 2019 we will have the newest school building. Our main building is being replaced by a state-of-the-art three-storey teaching and learning space, complete with dining room, assembly hall, drama space, technology rooms and specialised rooms for all our subjects.
Together with the Mark Hall Sports Centre, complete with floodlit AstroTurf and all-weather running track, and our separate art block, we will be fully equipped to offer state-of-the-art education to our students.
Our motto Aspire, Endeavour, Achieve encompasses everything we want to develop in our students. To support this, we are re-modelling our structure around three houses, each led by a progress leader and supported by faculties, subjects and tutor staff. Our student body is increasing by over 100 students a year, aiming for 1050 in total.
We now need additional staff to join us in transforming the lives of our students.
We are recruiting for a Teacher of Geography to join us in September 2019. Applications for part-time hours will also be considered and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
