Through our Trust ‘Blue Sky’ Teaching School we are able to offer each member of staff bespoke CPD packages to ensure all staff are supported from NQTs to those aspiring to leadership.  Teacher training and development draws from effective practice with links Nationwide with our Multi Academy chains and aims to develop teaching and learning practice that is at the forefront of current educational practice. Most recently staff have developed their research ideas with both Newman University and St Mary’s Twickenham. Subject specialists have also strong links with St Augustine’s School as an outstanding Teaching School place within the top 30 in the Country for Progress 8.

We also recruit staff through Teach First and School Direct as a member of the Castle Phoenix Alliance and Blue Sky Alliance. PGCE students are placed in school from Warwick University and Newman University amongst other providers. At all levels there are opportunities to mentor trainees and to support new staff as NQT’s or as new in post. We have development opportunities for leadership through work with ex HMI and trained Ofsted inspectors to improve the quality of our own evaluation. Importantly we have moved to become a member of a multi academy company (Romero Academy) with our feeder schools and there are very good examples already of joint work on Key Stage 2 to 3 transition.

If you are interested in any of the posts we currently have advertised we would very much welcome you to visit the school or to meet with members of the leadership team to discuss your ambition and career potential.
