Parkfield School is looking to appoint an excellent and motivational Teacher of Geography for September 2017. The position is available for NQTs and experienced Geographers who are enthusiastic and keen to educate students about the changing world around them.
We are an all-through school which teaches students aged 4-16 and are about to move into new premises.
Geography, with its broad sweep, is central to our vision of relevant, knowledge based learning. The successful candidate should have the ability to teach KS3 and KS4 and as an all through school there will be the opportunity to contribute to teaching in KS2. The right candidate will also possess the ambition and desire to play a significant role in the further development of the entire humanities curriculum.
For the right candidate there would also be the possibility to become involved in developing P.S.H.E. and the careers curriculum.
