We are seeking a Geography teacher who is passionate about developing and delivering creative and engaging pedagogical approaches, to join a successful and forward-thinking department that seeks to underline the value and importance of Geography in every learning experience.
In return, we offer an exciting and rewarding place to work; where students are keen to learn and achieve and appreciate their teachers’ dedication and support. Our high expectations and aspirations for our students has placed the school, repeatedly over time, as one of the highest achieving.
The wellbeing of our staff is the foundation on which we build our success and to support this, appropriate and relevant CPD opportunities are available to all staff. Hillview School for Girls has long-running success in supporting teachers through their first years in education.
In addition, to support working parents, we have an onsite nursery that caters for children 6 months to pre-school age that was judged Outstanding by Ofsted in October 2017. This service is subsidised for Hillview School staff and charges are very advantageous. We also have a modern onsite gym that is free for staff to use.
Hillview staff who have worked at the school for at least 2 years are given priority places in years 7 to 11 regardless of their proximity to the school.
Please submit a CV or TES application form by 9.00a.m. on Monday 18th January 2021.
Please note: Applications may be considered whilst the post is being advertised. Hillview School for Girls reserves the right to close the advert earlier than the stated deadline.
Hillview School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our students and we expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
