The Geography department at St Mary’s College is looking for an enthusiastic and creative teacher, with the ability to teach across the ability range and at Key Stages 3-5.
The successful applicant will be joining a vibrant and high performing department in an outstanding 11-19 school. Having recently completed the process of becoming a new Trust and as a Teaching School this is a particularly exciting time for the College. St Mary's College is a Catholic Secondary School and Sixth Form situated in the city of Hull.
St Mary's College continues to go from strength to strength, offering our students and the community we serve, top quality educational provision, outstanding facilities and a commitment to the highest of standards.
The school was judged to be 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in 2010 and continues to hold this judgement to date.

St Mary’s College believes every student has the right to a full and exciting education. The school curriculum is rooted in the faith, practice and moral teaching of the Roman Catholic Church.
St Mary’s College's sporting achievements have set it apart from other schools and its facilities have helped many pupils get involved with sports. Various extracurricular activities are also offered to pupils, from Budding Entrepreneur club to Backstage club. St Mary’s status as an International School has helped it foster a cultural and community feel. From the Green Generation project with Slovenia to an ICT project with Kenya and Nigeria, international schemes help to teach pupils about other cultures.
