We require an exceptional and committed teacher of Geography who will work within a supportive and ambitious department. 

As a key member of the team, you will be expected to have experience in teaching across key stages 3 & 4, including the delivery of GCSE. We pride ourselves on being a highly innovative and successful department who are committed to delivering the syllabus through active learning.

We seek a teacher who shares our forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning and strives to continue to achieve excellent results, maximising pupil progress. 

This vacancy is suitable for an NQT as well as a more experienced teacher.

Ribblesdale High School is a co-educational secondary school based in Lancashire, for students aged 11-16. It is a non-denominational school founded in 1932.

The school is situated in the market town of Clitheroe, at the heart of the Ribble Valley.

“Teaching is good. Teachers’ questioning is used well to push students to think hard and express themselves fully. This enhances their oral and communication skills. Students’ behaviour is good. They conduct themselves well in lessons and as they move around the school. Students’ attitudes to learning are positive. They work hard and follow instructions well. They enjoy their learning because activities capture their interest. Students’ attendance is above average and they are always punctual to school and lessons. They arrive to lessons well prepared for learning.”
