Required for 26th February, 2018 (1 ½ Terms in the first instance)  Teacher of Geography – Temporary  0.5 of full time, MPS – timetable detailed in the information pack.      

Governors are seeking applications from well-qualified and enthusiastic teachers with the ability and drive to maximise potential in this high-performing Academy which prides itself on achieving excellent results.  The County High School, Leftwich is committed to building a team of exceptional leaders and teachers in a positive and supportive learning environment.  Summer 2017: 87% achieved 4+ in English; 83% achieved 4+ in Mathematics; 80% achieved 4+ in both English and Mathematics; 87% achieved A* - C in Science; 28% of all grades were A+ (or equivalent 7+).  This post thus provides an ideal opportunity for career development in a school in which “Pupils display a thirst for learning” and there is“…first-rate behaviour in classrooms and around the academy” (Ofsted, March 2016).

The County High School Leftwich is a fully inclusive, co-educational, 11-16 school with approximately 1000 students, 60 teaching and 60 support staff. The school serves a mixed catchment area with a Published Admission Number of 196, though we are now significantly over-subscribed.
