This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the country’s leading boys’ boarding and day Prep Schools. The successful applicant will be a graduate with an outstanding subject knowledge and an evident interest in teaching boys aged 8 to 13. This is likely to include preparing boys for Common Entrance examinations and scholarships to many leading senior schools including Eton, Harrow, Radley and Winchester. Games players will find their talents utilised but this is not an expectation.

Cothill House is a thriving, family-run preparatory day and boarding school for boys surrounded by extensive grounds in the heart of rural Oxfordshire yet just seven miles from Oxford. Coupling a fine tradition with innovation, Cothill provides a happy, secure and stimulating environment, Our boys quickly learn how to live alongside each other, form firm friendships, and develop their talents and social skills for life.

Whilst we have had much success winning academic, sport, music and art scholarships, we never lose sight of the fact that we are preparing boys, not just for examinations, but for life. Our main role is to be guardians of childhood!
