A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our Geography department, for a permanent and part time position (0.6 to 0.8) commencing 1 September 2020.
At the School, Geography is taught to all students until the end of Year 9 when the subject becomes optional and it is then usually taken by approximately half of the year group. Geography is also a popular subject in the Sixth Form, both at A Level and within the IB Diploma Programme.
Fieldwork plays a vital role in the teaching of the subject and we have a busy and exciting programme of educational visits and extra-curricular activities for all year groups. All members of the department contribute to these activities as well as to the wider extra-curricular programme on offer across the School.
The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.
Accommodation may be available for new staff in a local six-unit property.
