We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative teacher of Geography to join our experienced team. The successful candidate will be able to show the motivation and commitment required to achieve ambitious targets for the pupils they teach and be dedicated to providing a holistic education for our pupils.
About Compass School
Compass School Southwark is a four-form entry, mixed, 11-16 free school that opened in September 2013. Founded by a varied and experienced group of Trustees, the school will grow to offer an exceptional education to 600 young people in the heart of Bermondsey. We are ideally located just a short walk from Bermondsey Tube Station.
Our new building which is near completion, will facilitate a fantastic education for our young people with state-of-the-art learning and sports facilities.
The school will join The Charter School’s Educational Trust from July 2023 and will become The Charter School Bermondsey. This exciting new partnership will bring fantastic opportunities, including access to first rate professional development opportunities.

About the role
We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic practitioner to join our Geography department. The successful candidate will be able to teach Geography to KS4 level. You would be joining a well-resourced and highly motivated team that are committed to creating an outstanding provision for our students.
