All students study Geography up to the end of KS3, over 50% of our students study GCSE Geography and we have 6 A Level Geography groups annually.

Experience of teaching A Level Geography would be desirable, whilst a contribution to extra-curricular activities is essential. All applicants must demonstrate a passion for the subject with the ability to inspire and engage all students.

Why choose us?

Ofsted (February 2025) said: “Staff and pupils work hard together in this strong school community. The school is highly ambitious for its pupils. Staff provide high-quality teaching and support which takes account of pupils’ starting points and needs. The school is a calm, safe, purposeful place. Pupils are exceptionally courteous and polite. They treat each other with respect and care.”

Good Schools Guide (June 2024) said: “Parents and pupils attribute the school’s success to its ‘strong leadership’ and ‘supportive teachers’. Pupils felt that many go ‘above and beyond’, making lessons enjoyable and interactive and sharing their passion for their subjects. The school motto, "not for oneself but for all," encourages an altruistic and reflective attitude.”
