TEACHER OF GEOGRAPHY

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Geography teacher who wishes to work within a successful, supportive department keen to implement innovative ideas to further the success of Geography. This job would suit either an NQT or a more experienced teacher. The Purbeck School is currently thriving in the top 20% of schools nationally for Progress 8.
This is a fantastic time to join the Geography Department at the Purbeck School. The Department is highly popular with students throughout the school, notably at GCSE, where we have had the highest uptake of students as an options subject for two years running. Geography is equally popular at A level with multiple classes in both year 12 and 13. Geography is taught through a dynamic mastery based curriculum, rigorously preparing them by developing Geographical skills and knowledge necessary for success at GCSE from Year 7.
We are looking for a teacher who wants to work in a strong team, in a school in a beautiful area where there are lots of opportunities to develop both within the faculty and in the pastoral systems of the school.
