TEACHER OF GEOGRAPHY (with possible Head of Department responsibilities)

Full Time Temporary Maternity Cover

MPS or UPS if post threshold  (plus TLR2(2) if taking on acting Head of Department responsibilities)

We are looking for a passionate Geography teacher, with a real love for the subject, who is committed to inspiring our young people. Geography is very popular at GCSE and A level and has enjoyed some excellent results in the school. A vacancy has arisen due to the impending maternity leave of our current Head of Department. Applications are invited from candidates with experience and the potential to take on Head of Department responsibilities or those who are newer to the profession and just interested in the role of Teacher of Geography. The successful candidate will need to be capable of teaching A-level geography. 


Our Geography team are an exceptionally supportive and cohesive team, placing a strong emphasis on improving our practice as individuals and as a collective. As a department we use technology to enhance learning through the use of Google Apps for Education and chromebooks.
