The College has a strong international perspective and offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Middle Years Programmes, alongside GCSEs. History, Geography and Music are delivered through the bilingual section in French and German and the curriculum ranges from beginners’ to Literature courses for native speakers. It runs a large number of international trips and exchanges. Experience of the International Baccalaureate would be viewed with interest but is not a prerequisite, as would experience of teaching humanities in the target language as part of a bilingual programme.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, at Sixth Form, offers Language A (for native level speakers), Language B (non-native speakers) and Ab Initio (beginners). Both Language A Literature and B are at Higher and Standard levels. The full range of courses is available to teach for appropriately qualified candidates.
