Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, motivated and ambitious teacher of Girls’ PE to contribute to our highly successful, skilled, committed and inspirational team. Elements of the curriculum are taught to mixed sex groups, but a substantial part of this timetable will be for the delivery of Girls’ PE. This post would equally suit a talented NQT or a more experienced practitioner. Examination teaching at GCSE, A Level is available in addition to Key Stage 3 and 4 Core PE. The Academy is well represented by its sports teams in many competitions and therefore the successful candidate could expect to be involved in after school training sessions and fixtures.
Queensbury Academy is an extremely popular and over-subscribed Academy, situated on a pleasant site at the foot of Dunstable Downs – South Bedfordshire.
