An opportunity has arisen for a Girls PE Teacher on Maternity cover at Clayton Hall Academy, part of United Endeavour Trust.

We have a reputation for allowing all students to participate in a range of sports. A passion for Netball and/or Football would be an advantage, and an unwavering commitment to providing extra-curricular opportunities beyond the constraints of the school day is essential.

You will be a highly motivated and inspirational teacher who can encourage, enthuse and engage students across Yrs 7-11, and act as a positive role model.   You will demonstrate creativity in developing rich and exciting lessons across a broad range of sports and disciplines.   We are looking for a colleague who is ambitious and adaptable, with excellent planning and classroom management skills, and will consider NQTs who will be supported to achieve their goals within the department.  Within the trust we offer excellent CPD and opportunities for career progression.

PE is a very popular curriculum subject in the school and we currently offer BTEC Sport. We also have a rich history of providing outdoor educational opportunities for students through our own tailor-made residential experiences. 

We offer outstanding sports facilities that include:

o AstroTurf pitch 

o Netball courts 

o Sports hall 

o Traditional Gym

o Multiple Outdoor Pitches
