An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated teacher of Girl’s PE to join our expanding Physical Education department here at The King’s. Applications are invited from both NQTs and experienced teachers who have a passion for teaching across KS3 and KS4 and GCSE PE.
This is an exciting career opportunity to join a strong team of specialist, highly committed and enthusiastic teachers working towards increased excellence, teaching across the age ranges. We are looking for a female teacher to work with our Lead Teacher to develop the provision of sport in the school for girls of all ages, including the provision of expressive arts. A commitment to raising the profile of sport and dedication to extra-curricular activities is a pre-requisite for this position.
The King’s CE (A) School moved into brand new £14.2million buildings in November 2016, boasting enhanced learning spaces and cutting edge technology. The PE department take advantage of a designated theory classroom, a three-court sports hall, dance studio, on-site swimming pool, astro-turf and grass playing fields.

The King’s Church of England School, situated in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, is a secondary mainstream school with a sixth form. The voluntary aided, coeducational, Christian school teaches students from the age of 11 to 18. There are currently 708 pupils enrolled and another 139 on the roll in sixth form. In 2000, it became a specialist school and it has a healthy school award.
