Teacher of Girls PE

The Cheadle Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Girls PE with the ability to teach across all key stages. The Governors are looking for an individual who is an outstanding practitioner and who will contribute positively to the wider school community of this inclusive school.  

The PE Department prides itself on creating both a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all our students. The successful candidate would be joining a department with outstanding practitioners, where sport plays a key role within the academy.

At KS4 we offer both GCSE PE and BTEC Sport with options progressing onto A level or BTEC national. Students achieve highly and make outstanding progress within PE, where national results are consistently above national standards. In 2017, the department had 100% of GCSE students achieving A*-C grades. Along with this 41.7% of students achieved A*-A grades and within this two students achieved 100% overall.
