Our Lady’s RC High School has 970 students and is a mixed, 11-16 comprehensive within the family of the Diocese of Salford. Our Lady’s Roman Catholic High School is a mainstream, co-educational secondary school for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Higher Blackley, Manchester, and it has 850 students on its roll.

“Pupils have good attitudes to learning and work is carefully presented. Pupils’ spelling, punctuation and grammar in writing, and their use of standard English when speaking, have improved significantly since the last inspection. School leaders, including governors, have an accurate understanding of the school’s strengths and areas for development. They are determined to continue improving opportunities for pupils. Senior leaders have taken effective measures to improve levels of literacy. Teachers provide pupils with opportunities to develop their speaking skills and practise their use of standard English.”
