Midhurst Rother College is an 11 to 18 academy located in beautiful surroundings situated inside the new South Downs National Park. Accommodated in a new £31 million building the College obtained an ‘outstanding’ judgement in all Ofsted categories in 2013. The College is on a strong upward trajectory of improvement and is very much the school of choice in the local area and beyond. In order to maintain this momentum the College requires (from September 2018) a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of PE. The ability to be able to teach a second subject is desirable.

Students are keen to learn and want to be engaged and challenged with lessons that are vibrant and interesting. The PE curriculum team is strong, enthusiastic & passionate about PE and totally committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential.

An extensive training and Inset programme along with a ‘laptop for staff’ scheme are in place. All those joining the College contribute to its wider life, especially its already rich and diverse programme of enrichment activities. PE is crucial to the College’s future curriculum plans and its activities play a large role in its extra-curricular programme.
